About the Role

The Bridge Project has been working in Bradford for over 40 years, supporting individuals, families and communities to improve people’s lives in a sustainable way, recognising that solutions are often complex. We have a strong staff team of 115 dedicated individuals who address a range of issues such as homelessness, substance misuse, sex working, offending, and provide quality supported housing.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Drug and Alcohol Management professional to lead our drug and alcohol contracts and partnerships across Bradford.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a tangible difference in improving outcomes for individuals and families affected by substance use across Bradford.

The post holder will have direct line management responsibility for team leaders and staff across a portfolio of contracts, including (but not limited to):

  • New Vision Bradford – Drug and Alcohol Adult Service
  • One80 Young Persons Service – Drug and Alcohol Young Persons Service
  • Early Help Team – Drug and Alcohol Specialist Support (working in partnership with Bradford Children’s Trust)

Working closely with other senior managers and data leads, the post holder will drive continuous improvement in service delivery, performance, and quality.

We are looking for a professional with:

  • A proven track record in managing substance misuse services or closely related fields.
  • Strong skills in relationship building and partnership working with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to motivate, develop, and lead teams through change.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
  • The ability to contract manage multiple services.
